The 7th Annual Golfing for Philanthropy Tournament, presented by Kenora Chevrolet Buick GMC Corvette brought 31 teams together for charity and raised $55,000 for the Community Foundation.
The work of the Community Foundation in growing the charitable sector in the Kenora and Lake of the Woods Region, was strengthened by the success of the 7th Annual Golfing for Philanthropy Charitable Fundraiser, held on June 4th at the Kenora Golf and Country Club. Once again, we thank Kenora Chevrolet Buick GMC Corvette as Presenting Sponsor. Donny B, Tbaytel, Clearwater Market supported the event as Premier Sponsors. The tournament also benefitted from the dedicated efforts of over thirty volunteers. Golfers enjoyed a delicious BBQ lunch provided by the Rotary Club of Kenora, a complementary boxed lunch for volunteers donated by Subway, while supper was prepared by the Kenora Golf and Country Club.
